TA School Ltd Competition Terms and Conditions
This competition has been created by TA Education to recognise and celebrate the commitment of education institutions across the United Kingdom in supporting staff and students to develop their skills through the use of Microsoft Copilot. Certification activity completed through the TA School platform forms the basis of the competition. These Terms and Conditions set out the rules, eligibility requirements and processes that govern participation.
Promoter
The promoter of this competition is TA Education, a trading name of The Tablet Academy Ltd.
Eligibility
The competition is open to education institutions located in the United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales). Individual entries from staff or students are not accepted. The individual completing this form on behalf of their institution confirms that they have the full authority to participate by the institutions' leadership team.
Competition Period
The competition runs from 13 April 2026 to 30 June 2026. Entries submitted outside this period will not be counted.
How to Enter
Entries must be submitted through the Competition Entry Form provided by TA Education. Entry is based on the number of certifications redeemed for courses hosted on the TA School website at www.ta.school.
Certification Data Source
For the purposes of determining competition outcomes, certification data will be sourced directly from the TA School platform. Data matching will be conducted using the Institution Name and Institution Postcode supplied during the certification redemption process and on the Competition Entry Form. TA Education accepts no responsibility for discrepancies arising from inconsistent or incorrect information provided by an institution.
Prize Categories
There are four prize categories:
- Total number of staff certifications - Based on the total number of education staff certifications recorded for the institution on the TA School platform.
- Total number of student certifications - Based on the total number of student certifications recorded for the institution on the TA School platform.
- Percentage of staff certifications (calculated as total number of education staff certifications recorded for the institution on the TA School platform as a percentage of the total number of staff as declared on the Competition Entry Form)
- Percentage of student certifications (calculated as total number of student certifications recorded for the institution on the TA School platform as a percentage of the total number of students as declared on the Competition Entry Form)
An institution may be eligible to win more than one category.
TA Education accepts no responsibility for incorrect or inconsistent institution details which may affect the matching of certification records.The number of staff and students entered on the Competition Entry Form may be cross-referenced with government sources if required. Please try to be accurate with the data you provide.
Definition of Education Staff
For the purpose of this competition, the term education staff refers to all employees who contribute to the operation of the institution, including teaching staff and support staff. The number of education staff is used only to provide an indication of the size of the institution for the calculation of percentage based prize categories. It does not limit which staff members may complete certifications, and all certifications recorded for the institution on the TA School platform will be included regardless of staff role.
Prizes
Each category winner will receive a voucher worth £500 (excluding VAT). The voucher can be redeemed against TA services only. Prizes must be redeemed by 31 December 2026. All prizes are subject to availability. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative rewards.
Winner Selection
Winners will be determined by the highest value in each prize category based on the data submitted through the Competition Entry Form. In the event of a tie within any category, the winner will be selected at random from the tied institutions. TA Education will contact winning institutions using the contact information provided at entry. We will not be able to inform all unsuccessful entries. A list of the winning institutions will be posted on the TA Education social media channels.
Data Use
Information submitted through the entry process will be used solely for the purpose of administering this competition. TA Education will manage all data in accordance with United Kingdom data protection laws. Data will not be shared with third parties except where required for competition administration or legal compliance.
General Conditions
TA Education reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control. TA Education reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, inaccurate or in breach of these Terms and Conditions. By entering this competition, participating institutions agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Invitation to Microsoft Elevate Celebration Day
A representative from each winning institution will be invited to attend the UK Microsoft Elevate Celebration Day on 10 July 2026 at the Microsoft office in Paddington, London. Attendance is optional and travel or accommodation costs are not included as part of the prize.
